Recently the Chaiten Volcano in Chile has erupted forcing many residents in the area to evacuate. This volcano cam gives you a live view of Mount Vesuvius in Italy.  The webcam points at this volcano from Naples, Italy.  This is the only volcano in Europe that has erupted in the last 100 years and is considered to be one of the world’s most dangerous volcanoes since there million people currently near it.  You can see Mt. Vesuvius on this cam with a static image or streaming video.

Mount St. Helens Cam in Washington

This volcano cam comes to you from world famous Mount St. Helens in the state of Washington.  This is the famous volcano that is most famous for its eruption in 1980 when it’s top pretty much blew off.  These Mount St. Helens cams come to you courtesy of the USDA forest service.  You can watch the classic cam or watch the high definition cam.  Both cams update every 30 seconds.

Hawaiian Volcano Observatory Cams

The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory has two panoramic volcano cams that you can view to watch the current activity at two volcanoes on the big island of Hawaii: Mauna Loa and Kilauea.  Mauna Loa is the world’s biggest volcano, by the way.  You can also watch some pretty cool time lapse volcano movies on their site as well.
